Lovely flower/snowflake ornaments made from chain maille, woven together to form these gorgeous shapes. Chain maille is a type of armor or jewelry made by linking together individual metal rings to form a mesh-like pattern. Historically, chain maille was primarily used as armor for protecting warriors in battle, dating back to ancient times and reaching its peak during the Middle Ages.
